Download Open Source Ground Control Station C#

Long Time not writing on this blog, now i'm focus on quadrotor control simulation using Matlab for My Master Thesis Project. in other time, i will explain how to simulate quadrotor on matlab.


In this chance i wanna share my Undergraduate Final Project, that is DXGCS ground control station. My First Ground Control Station (GCS) is built from C# Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. You Can use it for free but i hope. dont remove the Copyright of My Name : Swadexi istiqphara . And I Hope there is the Development of my GCS.

Quadrotor Matlab Simulation on Ground Station

I've just made matlab simulation on my GCS. quadrotor control simulation using matlab and for 3D view i used google earth plugin. to comunicate between Matlab to GCS, it use simple UDP protocol. it work well. you can see to my videos at youtube belows :

DxAutopilot Ground Control Station

Now. I've Finished My Ground Control Station, I Give it name dXGCS.. with Features

1. Flashing to dxAutopilot's Board.
2. 3D UAV View using Google Earth Plugin
3. Record and Play Flight Data
4. USB Joystick Control , to control UAV
5. Wireless Camera ( FPV Wanna be :D )
6. Map Downloader ( So You can Using Map Offline )
7. Instrument View : AH, Satelite, Altimeter, Heading, Speed, Baterai Indikator, Servo Signal Viewer.

System Requirements :

1. Windows .OS ( Xp, Vista, 7)
2. Net Framework 4.0
3. Google Earth Active Plugin

I build this GCS using C# . net Programing. And It will Continue to developed.

UAV Ground Control Station Visual Studio 2010

Now I plan to make a ground control station that was built from Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, I am using c # language. net, it's very different from VB6. While this is my process for making GCS was up 60%. 

Microsoft Visual Studio is a complete software (suite) that can be used to perform application development, be it business applications, personal application, or application components, in the form of console applications, Windows applications, or Web applications. Visual Studio includes a compiler, SDK, Integrated Development Environment (IDE), and documentation (generally in the form of the MSDN Library). The compilers are included in the package include Visual Studio Visual C + +, Visual C #, Visual Basic, Visual Basic. NET, Visual InterDev, Visual J + +, Visual J #, Visual FoxPro, and Visual SourceSafe. 

Microsoft Visual Studio can be used to develop applications in native code (in the form of machine language that runs on Windows) or managed code (Microsoft Intermediate Language in the form above. NET Framework). In addition, Visual Studio can also be used to develop Silverlight applications, Windows Mobile application (which runs on top. NET Compact Framework).Visual Studio has now stepped version of Visual Studio 9.0.21022.08, otherwise known as the Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, which was launched on 19 November 2007, addressed to the Microsoft platform. I have the ease of using this language even new knowledge about the serial interface in Visual communication is. so I'm sure my program is more powerful than VB6.Why do I use C #. Net (csharp) and not Vb.net?At first I use vb.net, but because I am still just learning (beginer) in VS2010, and at that point I did not get the look of monitoring vehicle behavior such as horizon sensors and others shown in the visual display, and I get the instrument control of Avionics built in C #. since then I use this programming language.

UAV TELEMETRI GROUND STATION

Ground station serves to display the data behavior of a vehicle when flying in visual graphic form.
The following is a graphical display of system ground station that I created for my final project this



from above picture, you can see the map and the raddar for plane altitude when flying.this ground segment have many menu , for example map picker, it is for geting map from google map. the way is using google map javascript code and you will be able to download map.and servo signal viewer is also available in this ground station/
